Making a Difference
Make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and a difference in your own life.
People who donate do so to express their gratitude, honor a loved one, or share a part of themselves with others. The benefits of these gifts are quite extraordinary.
A gift can give:
- A voice to a child who cannot speak, through the latest communication device that enables desires and needs to be expressed
- Access to the world for an adult who is blind, by providing training on a computer with a speech synthesizer
- Respite from the day-to-day challenges by providing an adult or child with a week at one of our summer camps.
- And much, much more
There are many ways to make a gift to Oak Hill, but, what’s most important is finding the right way to help you meet your philanthropic goals. Here are some of the ways to give to Oak Hill:
Commemorative Gifts – Some people choose to make their gifts in honor or in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a birthday or other special event. A lovely card is sent to the family or honoree, as well as the donor, in recognition of the gift. Gifts can be made online as well as via mail.
Annual Campaign – Oak Hill’s annual campaign supports the general operations of our programs and services. Gifts can be restricted to a particular program, should you so desire. Visit our latest campaign page to read about how your dollars are making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities that we serve.
Monthly Giving – If you are looking for a systematic, easy way to make your gift, the monthly giving option may be your best choice. This option allows you to make a pledge once a year and your gift is processed once a month via credit card. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Eloise J. Mongillo, Director of Development at (860) 769-3854 or eloise.mongillo@OakHillCT.org
Online Giving – All of the above gifts can be made online by clicking Donate Now.
